Born and raised in Altadena, CA, QUIÑ has been establishing herself as one of the year’s most exciting break out acts. Her upcoming project LUCID is the third installment in her EP series which consists of her past releases DREAMGIRL and GALACTICA. This new release is another step in her quest to carve out a lane in the industry with her unique fantasy soul sound – a term coined by the singer/songwriter herself. LUCID, executive produced by Chuck Inglish of the infamous duo The Cool Kids, is a 6-track effort with the first single “Remind Me” being a soulful reflection of the Patrice Rushen classic “Forget Me Nots” and QUIÑ’s classic sound.
Speaking about her new EP, QUIÑ says, "LUCID is the next chapter in my sonic fantasy soul tale. We started with GALACTICA, and left off at DREAMGIRL. This is just a continuation of the never ending story of me. It's about being born again; remembering who you are, and the powers you possess. It's about allowing yourself the love and space to be able to hear your own voice. It’s about getting a grip on the fact that we can do anything; and about realizing that collecting every flavor of true love is the ticket to all of your wildest dreams.”
Boasting collaborations with some of the industry’s biggest stars and with hits of her own, QUIÑ has garnered the attention of outlets such as Highsnobiety, V Magazine, Elle, Teen Vogue, FADER, and more. After releasing her debut EP and garnering critical acclaim she was then tapped by JMSN to support him on his tour and has since graced the stages of Afropunk in Brooklyn, SXSW’s infamous FADER Fort, Red Bull Sound Select, GALORE’s inaugural Girl Cult Conference and performed alongside acts such as Dej Loaf and Ne-Yo.
Taking her fantasy soul brand to new heights, QUIÑ has also been blazing a path within the world of fashion. The Wilhelmina Models signee has been featured in campaigns for brands such as Nike Jordan, Missguided, Vans, Reebok, Target, and GAP alongside supermodel Naomi Campbell. QUIÑ has proved that her talents are multi-faceted and that she can do anything she sets her mind to.
